All the Best to Aaron Ramsey

Posted on February 27, 2010 by AMiRUNo Comments

I’ve just finish watching the match between Stoke and Arsenal. I’m happy as Arsenal won the game yet disappointed that Aaron Ramsey had be rushed to the Hospital by an ambulant as he was tackled badly by a Stoke player, Shawcross obviously it was a red card for him. The game was stopped for about 5 minutes to allow the medic to do their job. With so many injury players, its going to be hard for Arsenal to catch up with Chelsea and Manchester United to win the title this season.

There are few more games, and Arsenal shouldn’t have problem to win against their opponent if it wasn’t because of the injuries. I hope that there won’t be any more bad incident to any other Arsenal players and wish that all injured players such as Ramsey, Persie and Arshavin will recover as soon as possible.

Blackburn R.    2 – 2    Sunderland
Chelsea    2 – 1    Fulham
Everton    2 – 0    Burnley
Stoke C.    0 – 1    Birmingham C.
Wolverhampton W.    0 – 3   Manchester C.

December 29

Aston Villa    0 – 1     Liverpool
Bolton W.    2 – 2    Hull C.

Way to Go Arsenal

Posted on December 27, 2009 by AMiRUNo Comments

:D Arsenal won big this week!

December 26

Birmingham C.    0 – 0    Chelsea
Fulham    0 – 0    Tottenham H.
West Ham U.    2 – 0    Portsmouth
Burnley    1 – 1    Bolton W.
Manchester C.    2 – 0    Stoke C.
Sunderland    1 – 1    Everton
Wigan Athletic    1 – 1    Blackburn R.
Liverpool    2 – 0    Wolverhampton W.

December 27

Arsenal    3 – 0    Aston Villa
Hull C.    1 – 3    Manchester U.

Its a great weekend, Chelsea couldn’t get full points against Birmingham and Arsenal manage to win against Aston Villa. This means, the 3rd place is now much safer as the gap between Arsenal and Aston Villa is now bigger. Both United and Arsenal are chasing Chelsea for the title, let’s see who will manage to continue the winning streak.

Goodbye Mark Hughes

Posted on December 19, 2009 by AMiRUNo Comments

epltable2112December 19

Portsmouth    2 – 0    Liverpool
Aston Villa    1 – 0    Stoke C.
Blackburn R.    0 – 2    Tottenham H.
Fulham    3 – 0    Manchester U.
Manchester C.    4 – 3    Sunderland
Arsenal    3 – 0    Hull C.

December 20

Wolverhampton W.    2 – 0    Burnley
Everton    1 – 1    Birmingham C.
West Ham U.    1 – 1    Chelsea

While Liverpool keep on struggling to get points and Manchester losing to Fulham this week, Arsenal is standing strong with 3 goals in the Emirates stadium. One match that I would like to watch is the Manchester City against Sunderland. It was the last match for Hughes as the manager of City, replaced by Roberto Mancini. I don’t hope that Mancini will bring success to City, LOL.

Malaysian Finally Made It

Posted on December 17, 2009 by AMiRU2 Comments

msiavsvietFor those who didn’t know, I’m a Malaysian. :D Today is an amazing day for Malaysian Football Fans as we manage grab the gold medal in the 25th SEA Games. It has been 20 years since our country manage to win the gold medal (showing how bad our team was) which was in 1989 (The year I was born). LOL

The score was 1-0, I didn’t watch the full match but I did watch the goal. Nice lucky goal we manage to grab with many chances from both teams. If both team’s striker are world class striker, I guess there will be more goals as there are quite a number of chances that I saw being wasted. Lack of finishing skill I guess. But that’s the best we can expect from countries which football aren’t our specialty.  (We’re number one in Squash and Badminton!)I hope that one day, a country from South East Asia will manage to enters World Cup.

December 15

Sunderland    0 – 2    Aston Villa
Birmingham C.    2 – 1    Blackburn R.

December 16

Burnley    1 – 1    Arsenal
Chelsea    2 – 1    Portsmouth
Liverpool    2 – 1    Wigan Athletic
